4 star ratingSpent afternoon at Looe and struggled to book somewhere for dinner. The Fishmarket managed to fit us in and what luck as the seafood was delicious and the service was good. The only issue was it took nearly 30 minutes to deliver our dishes.

5 star ratingMy wife and I had a delicious meal here on Wednesday 29th April.
We had the Monkfish, Prawns, Crab and Smoked Haddock with comte Cheese. We had a side of spuds as well. For pudding we went for the Cheescake. All the food was really tasty, good size portions. The restaurant is small so you feel like one of the select few who get to dine here. The waitress was really lovely and friendly. A smashing little place.

5 star ratingWe had the most incredible lunch here after finding it randomly. The staff are wonderful & the food was beyond expectations. The BEST dirty martini we’ve ever had in a restaurant in Cornwall. 10/10 would go back again particularly because they have an ever changing menu. Can’t wait to see what we have next time.

A fabulous food discovery while visiting Looe. Absolute first class dining and service in an unassuming, intimate restaurant. With an open kitchen the entire team were most welcoming and engaging. I can highly recommend the buttermilk monkfish, crab rosti and the tastiest spuds I’ve ever had! All washed down with a wonderful bottle of muscadet. Despite living 350 miles away. I’ll make the return journey here.

5 star ratingAte here this evening with my wife and friends
Delighted our friends chose this place as the seafood it’s out of this world. We have some seafood over the years but nothing quite like this fresh and packed with delicious flavours.
Can’t imagine eating seafood anywhere else other than this place.
Definitely returning as soon as we can

The Fish Market was a real highlight from a weekend in Looe. I tried my first oyster here, which felt like a bit of a milestone, and the crab with the rostis was so good I ordered it twice. The moules marinière for main were fresh, generous and full of flavour. Relaxed atmosphere, great seafood and I would highly recommend!
